Fraud and Abuse

You can help reduce health care fraud and abuse. Here are a few examples of potential fraud and abuse:

  • Billing for health care services you never got
  • Loaning a member ID card to others for the purpose of getting health care services or prescription drugs
  • Being asked to provide false or misleading health care information
