Employer, Individual or Family Plans

These are plans that you get through your employer, or that you have purchased as an individual or for your family either directly from Tufts Health Plan or through the Massachusetts Health Connector or HSA. They may have names like HMO, PPO, EPO, Advantage, Advantage Saver, Premier, or Your Choice, among others. These plans are also called commercial plans.

You may receive Tufts Health Direct from an employer. If this is the case, please see the Tufts Health Direct information below.

Medicare Plans

You must meet certain criteria to enroll in a medicare plan. If you have a medicare plan, you may have enrolled through tuftsmedicarepreferred.org. These plans include Medicare Advantage plans, Senior Care Options, and Supplement plans.

Tufts Health Direct

Tufts Health Direct is our focused-network plan for individuals, families, and small groups. Members of Tufts Health Direct can access affordable ConnectorCare plans and other financial help programs. Tufts Health Direct is available for purchase on the Massachusetts Health Connector and HSA Insurance.

Tufts Health RITogether

Tufts Health RITogether is our Medicaid plan in Rhode Island. It covers Rhode Island residents who are eligible for RIte Care, Rhody Health Partners, and Medicaid Expansion.

Tufts Health Together

Tufts Health Together is our MassHealth plan. Tufts Health Plan works closely with two health care providers to offer accountable care organization plans (ACOs). Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) and UMass Memorial Health. We also offer a managed care organization plan (MCO).
