Benefits and Programs for New Moms

Having a baby is an exciting time. And we’re here to help!

Pregnant Woman Reading

Here are some of the programs and services Tufts Health RITogether covers to help you have a healthy pregnancy and delivery.

Prenatal and postpartum care

We encourage you to see a provider who specializes in taking care of women during pregnancy, delivery and after delivery. He or she will make sure you get the care you need throughout your pregnancy, delivery and up to 6 six weeks after delivery.

Doula program

Get support in your home from a doula. A doula is a non-clinical person who can help you get ready for the birth of your new baby by offering mental, physical and emotional support. Your doula may also be with you during labor to give you emotional support. Visit our doula page to learn more.
