2017 Corporate Citizenship Report

In a year dominated by talk about leadership, Tufts Health Plan put words into action.

For us, leadership means striving harder to understand not only the needs of a diverse workforce and an increasingly diverse membership but also the communities where we all live. It means managing the ups and downs of complex changes in the health insurance industry. It means tapping into the interests and passions of Tufts Health Plan employees to inspire and be inspired. It means creating a work environment where doing the right thing is the only thing that matters.

Following dramatic growth in 2016, our Corporate Citizenship program started 2017 with a clear sense of purpose. We volunteered in record numbers. We learned how to better connect with our members. We set a high bar for environmental practices. We earned recognition for our work. We combined compassion and innovation to provide high-ranking products and services. We followed business practices that benefit society while fostering a more positive and supportive work environment.

Over the past two years, we’ve deepened our commitment to our values, our employees and our community while also redefining the future of health care. As a company, we take pride in our accomplishments. Here we look back at some notable achievements.
