Tufts Health Plan Foundation Pledges $1 Million to Support Racial and Social Justice

In 2020, Tufts Health Plan Foundation committed $1 million to address investments on issues facing diverse communities. The funds went to the New Commonwealth Racial Equity and Social Justice Fund, the Latino Legacy Fund and the Asian Community Fund.

Addressing health disparities in the age of COVID-19

Data has shown that Black and Latinx communities have been disproportionately represented in the number of positive COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and age-adjusted deaths. Tufts Health Plan has been actively working to support members in communities most impacted by COVID-19.
