Starting January 1, 2024, our Tufts Health Unify (Medicare-Medicaid) plan will be renamed Tufts Health One Care (Medicare-Medicaid) plan. We’re proud to be one of the original One Care health plans in Massachusetts, and we want our name to reflect it!

One Care plans simplify your care by providing your MassHealth and Medicare benefits through one health plan and one ID card. It’s a better, easier way to manage your health. And you get more benefits than you have with separate MassHealth and Medicare plans, at $0 cost to you.

We believe the name change will make it easier for members to understand our plan and the benefits it offers as a One Care plan. Our members will continue to receive services that meet their individual needs. For example, our One Care plan is the only health plan in Massachusetts that offers in-home care management and urgent care services through Cityblock Health.

We will be taking a number of steps to introduce our new name to members, providers and the public. Here's what you can expect:

  • We’re updating all our member materials, web pages, etc. We’ll also have a new web address. Starting January 1, 2024, you can visit us online at TuftsHealthOneCare.org
  • You’ll receive a postcard announcement about the name change in late September.
  • You’ll get your new ID card with the new name in December.

We’re excited about the new name. Be on the lookout for an ad campaign about the name change starting in October.

If you have any questions, call us at 1-855-393-3154 (TTY: 711). We’re here seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
