Beginning March 31, 2024, annual mental health wellness examinations performed by a licensed mental health professional or primary care provider are covered at no patient cost-sharing for Tufts Health Direct members.

In accordance with Massachusetts law, Tufts Health Plan will: 

  • Provide coverage for:
    • an annual mental health wellness examination performed by a licensed mental health professional or a primary care provider (as part of an annual preventive visit). The exam will be covered with no cost sharing.
