Get care from a nurse, doctor or other provider
Find out how to access routine, urgent and emergency care.
With Tufts Health RITogether it’s easy to find the help and the health care providers you need
Your primary care provider (PCP) is the provider you contact first. Your PCP is on your side, helping you when you are sick and supporting you to stay healthy. Call your PCP when you need care during normal business hours.
To find a PCP in our network, use our provider search tool at tuftshealthplan.com/RIproviders. If you need to see a specialist, your PCP will give you a referral and tell you who to call.
Let us know who your PCP is within 30 days of when your plan starts. We’ll send you a $10 CVS gift card!
With Tufts Health RITogether, you don’t have to pay for checkups. Schedule a visit for a checkup with your PCP right away, even if you feel healthy.
Call your PCP’s office if you need care after hours. You can get help from a health care provider who is on call.

The Rhode Island All-Payer Claims Database
All health plans in Rhode Island, including Tufts Health Plan, send claims information to the Rhode Island All-Payer Claims Database (APCD). Rhode Island developed the APCD as part of its work on health care reform. Policy makers use APCD reports to make better health care decisions.
As a member of Tufts Health RITogether, your claims data will be included in the APCD. We send this information securely, and it is anonymous. That means that people’s names are not included.
We hope that you will choose to be a part of the APCD to help improve health care in Rhode Island. However, you can choose not to take part. Adults can opt out themselves. Parents/guardians of members under the age of 18 can opt out on their dependent’s behalf.
You can opt out of the APCD by visiting riapcd-optout.com. Please select Tufts Health RITogether as your primary health plan. Or you can call 855-747-3224 to opt out. If you have any questions, email [email protected].
