The Rhode Island All-Payer Claims Database
All health plans in Rhode Island, including Tufts Health Plan, send claims information to the Rhode Island All-Payer Claims Database (APCD). The APCD as part of the State’s work on health care reform. Policy makers use APCD reports to make better health care decisions.
Your claims data will be included in the APCD. We send this data securely, and it is anonymous. That means that people’s names are not sent.
We hope that you will choose to be a part of the APCD to help improve health care in Rhode Island. However, you can choose not to take part. Adults can opt out themselves. Parents/guardians of members under the age of 18 can opt out on their dependent’s behalf.
To opt out of the APCD, go to riapcd-optout.com. Please choose Tufts Health RITogether as your primary health plan. Or you can call 855-747-3224 to opt out. If you have any questions, email [email protected].
