We’re committed to quality service for all of our members
Everyone has different needs when it comes to their health. That’s why we create high quality, affordable health plan options that work for you — no matter what stage of life you’re in.
Our innovative solutions take into account the needs of our diverse members based on culture, language, sexual orientation, gender identity, and socio-economic status. Below are a few examples of the Tufts Health Plan difference.
Adding Value for Tufts Health Plan Senior Care Options Members
Our Senior Care Options Plan (HMO SNP) enhances the lives of the most valuable members of our community - our Seniors. Along with access to high quality care, we offer more covered benefits than MassHealth Standard and original Medicare alone at no cost to you. A dedicated care manager is at the center of your needs, who works with your doctors, family members and caregivers, and surrounding community resources.
Unite Here Local 26: Serving a Diverse Employer Group
Tufts Health Plan collaborates with Unite Here Local 26, a diverse group of over 8,000 members speaking over 50 native languages, to provide health benefits that offer high quality, affordable health care by managing costs and diverse member goals.
LGBTQ Health + Wellness
We are extremely proud of our recent recognition by the Human Rights Campaign as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality. Our commitment to the LGBTQ community extends to our members in our diverse communities. We pride ourselves in providing services that are innovative, compassionate and culturally sensitive for our members and their health care needs. Transgender services covered by Tufts Health Plan include gender affirming surgery, hormone therapy, and behavioral health services related to a member’s gender identity. We feel it is important to provide care that is essential to our LGBTQ members.
Doula By My Side Program
For high-risk expectant mothers in Worcester County, Tufts Health Plan offers Doula By My Side—a program designed to promote healthier pregnancies to full-term birth, decrease intensive care emergency admissions, and improve the health of newborns. The program also provides postpartum care and support, and is available to Tufts Health Plan members who are beneficiaries of MassHealth.
The innovative doula program is made possible through a unique collaboration with the Pettaway Pursuit Foundation, a nonprofit organization of certified doulas focused on improving pregnancy, birth, and prenatal experiences for women with high-risk pregnancies.
