Tufts Health Plan is one of the few health plans in Massachusetts to participate in the commercial, Medicare and Medicaid/subsidized markets, offering coverage across the life span regardless of age or circumstance.
With headquarters in Massachusetts, Tufts Health Plan also serves members in Connecticut and Rhode Island.

Our offerings
From traditional HMO and PPO plans to national, tiered and limited network plans, Tufts Health Plan provides quality health care coverage across the spectrum of an individual’s needs.
Employer-Sponsored Plans
Tufts Health Plan offers health insurance plans for employers of all sizes in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Our national CareLink product, in collaboration with Cigna, provides coverage for multi-state employers.
Individual Plans
Tufts Health Plan offers health insurance plans for individuals through brokers and the Connector in Massachusetts. In addition, we are contracted with the Massachusetts Connector to offer subsidized a Qualified Health Plan called Tufts Health Direct.
Medicaid Plans
Tufts Health Plan serves the Medicaid population in Massachusetts and Rhode Island through our Tufts Health Together and Tufts Health RITogether plans.
Medicare Plans
Tufts Health Plan offers Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement and Prescriptions Drug plans for Medicare beneficiaries and retirees.
Dually-Eligible Plans
Tufts Health Plan offers Tufts Health Unify for people ages 21-64 who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid through the OneCare program. In addition, we offer a Senior Care Options plan for individuals who are at least 65 years old and have both Medicare and MassHealth Standard (Medicaid) or just MassHealth Standard (Medicaid).
