Prenatal Services and Benefits for Pregnant Members

When we receive the completed Tufts Health Public Plans Prenatal Registration Form (PDF) and precertify the pregnancy, the member is eligible for:

• Routine ultrasound and prenatal services and nutrition counseling
• Counseling from nurses who can provide information and services specific to pregnant women
• Help selecting pregnancy care provider(s) and a pediatrician
• Special care management services for medically and socially high-risk pregnancies
• Home visits from a nurse before and after delivery
• Free breast pump for new mothers
