In-network

We cover a full range of behavioral health (mental health and substance use) services. Coverage for some in-network services will require notification. Others may require prior authorization for visits to in-network behavioral health providers. Refer to the Tufts Health Rhode Island Together Behavioral Health Prior Authorization (PA) and Notification Grid for specific information. Also, use our Find a Doctor, Hospital, or Pharmacy tool to check whether a provider is in-network. 

Out-of-network

We require prior authorization for visits to out-of-network providers. We consider a number of factors when reviewing prior authorization requests. Prior authorization can be requested by submitting the appropriate prior authorization request form.
