Fraud and Abuse

Help reduce health care fraud and abuse. Here are a few examples of fraud and abuse:

  • Receiving bills for health care services you never got
  • Loaning a member ID card to others for the purpose of getting health care services or prescription drugs
  • Being asked to provide false or misleading health care information

To report potential health care fraud and abuse, or if you have questions, please call us at 866.738.4116 (TTY: 711), Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., or email fraudandabuse@tufts-health.com. You don’t have to give us your name or member information.
