A Message from the President and CEO

We must reinforce the importance of a diverse and inclusive community

Our nation is experiencing a tumultuous time as many of us seek to understand and process the horrific events of the past several weeks, and the effects of systemic racism within our communities. The reports of the tragic deaths of Black/African American men and women by law enforcement seem all too frequent without the promise of an end nor a viable solution.

Tufts Health Plan fully supports the quest for human rights and equal treatment under the law. We come together to collectively express our sadness, disappointment and dismay in the recent events leading to the deaths of George Floyd and others. Now more than ever, we must reinforce the importance of a diverse and inclusive community where we all feel equally valued as human beings, regardless of the color of our skin.

Together - in unity and peace - we must fight these injustices to build a stronger, more just and safe world.
