Donations Support Families Facing Food Insecurity

Tufts Health Plan employees participate in food drive

With food pantries reporting increased demand for food this year, our employees in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire stepped up to donate more than 1,350 pounds of food for families facing hunger. Donations went to the Watertown, Mass. Food Pantry, the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, the Connecticut Food Bank and the New Hampshire Food Bank.

In March employees were asked to donate household items to help people who have experienced homelessness settle into new homes. These drives—like our annual Volunteer Day in June, our efforts to reduce energy use, and our workforce and supplier diversity programs—help demonstrate the company’s commitment to being a good corporate citizen.
