Shortly after your effective date, you will receive a welcome postcard to activate your online account for quick, secure access to your personalized health plan information. In your secure account, you can view your coverage and benefits, find a doctor, view your Member ID card, and estimate your out of pocket costs.

Next, you will begin to receive a series of text messages to help you better explore our resources and services such as digital tools for 24/7 access to your benefits, Telehealth by Teladoc® virtual health care services, wellness programs, member-only perks and discounts, preventive health topics and more.

Each quarter, you will also receive access to Well! – our member newsletter delivered via email and text message.1 It's also available at tuftshealthplan.com. Well! offers healthy recipes, preventive health tips and new program updates to all members.

Tufts Health Plan is committed to keeping you healthy and happy – we hope these communications help you maximize your health plan benefits offered by your employer and support your health care interests and needs.

  1. Text messages are sent through MyWire secure and personalized text message channel. MyWire is available to commercial members when enrolled (excluding Tufts Health Direct).

Telehealth virtual health care services provided by Teladoc are available to Tufts Health Plan Commercial members (not including Tufts Health Direct). There's no member cost share or copay for Teladoc to our employer-sponsored groups that have this benefit and have not opted out; cost share may apply to some self-insured groups. Cost share will apply to Saver plan members starting 1/1/2022. If you’re not sure whether your plan includes Telehealth by Teladoc, please ask your employer. And during the COVID-19 emergency, you can also ask your regular health care provider if they’re offering services virtually.

Members should refer to their member benefit documents for details regarding exact benefits, costs and coverage.
