American Rescue Plan Act Update

For former employees seeking health insurance

June 16, 2021

The American Rescue Plan Act, signed into law in March 2021, delivers new and expanded subsidies to help lower the cost of health insurance for millions of Americans - including Massachusetts residents through the Massachusetts Health Connector. Recently, the Massachusetts Health Connector expanded its eligibility requirements to make affordable health insurance coverage available to more people than before.

If you have employees who have recently left your organization and/or lost their job as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Massachusetts Health Connector may be a good option for those seeking affordable health insurance. Massachusetts residents have until July 23, 2021 to enroll in a plan offered through the Massachusetts Health Connector.
