What benefits are covered?

Many preventive health care services are covered in full and at no cost.

Preventive Health Care is routine health care that includes screenings, check-ups, and counseling to prevent illnesses, disease, or other health problems. We cover Preventive Health Care Services without Cost-Share to the extent required by the Affordable Care Act.

Your health plan also covers other non-preventative services when they are medically necessary. Depending on the plan type and service, members are responsible to pay certain costs out-of-pocket. View the benefits and cost-sharing summary for your plan level to learn what you pay for services.

For a full list of covered benefits, see the covered services section of the Member Handbook. (2023 | 2024)

What does it cost to get covered services?

After getting certain covered services, members may owe costs like copayments, deductibles and/or coinsurance. These costs apply to medical, behavioral health and pharmacy services.
