Mental Health + Substance Use Disorder

Change your thinking. Improve your health.

At Tufts Health Plan, we believe your emotional and physical well-being is closely connected. So we encourage you to take advantage of your behavioral health benefits if you need them. Because your mental health can affect your physical health, we’re here to help you with both.

Looking for support?

Some reasons you might seek support include:

Looking for a behavioral health care provider?

You don’t need a referral from your Primary Care Provider (PCP) to see a behavioral health care provider. But your PCP may be able to help you find a professional in your area.

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can be another source of support. EAPs typically can help with stress, grief, family problems, alcohol and more. Check with your employer’s human resources department to see if you have an EAP.
